James became our Lead Pastor on September 17, 2017. He and his wife, Trish Jackson, have two sons, Caleb and Josh. James is committed to helping people fall in love with the Bible. Mike Vineyard
Associate Pastor
Mike Vineyard joined our staff on August 1, 2022. In 2024 his title was updated to Associate Pastor. Mike provides leadership in evangelism, discipleship, church administration and pastoral care. Mike and his wife, Erin Vineyard, have one daughter, Emily.
Josh Hunter
Minister of Music and Worship
Josh Hunter joined our staff on August 18, 2024. Josh works part-time as our Minister of Music and Worship Ministries. He leads us in worship each Sunday but also guides us to challenge our thinking and roles in music as we are all, Ministers of the Gospel. Josh is married to Alli Hunter and they have five children, Noble, Hope, Blaise, Wake, and Zion.
Michelle Blackmon
Children's Ministry Director
Michelle became our part-time Children's Ministry Director on September 1, 2025. She leads our ministries for Babies-6th Graders. She is married to Daniel, and they have one daughter, Augustine.
Jonworth Locke
Student Minister
Jonworth Locke joined our staff on June 25, 2023. Jonworth works part-time as our Student Minister. He leads our 7th-12th graders, as well as college-aged students in understanding how to navigate this world and remain faithful to Christ. He is married to Taylor Locke and they have one daughter, Olivia.
Stacey Perdue
Ministry Assistant
Stacey became our Church Secretary at Glynwood on October 4, 2001. In 2018, her title was updated to Ministry Assistant. In addition to Ministry Assistant, Stacey serves as our volunteer Senior Adult Director. Together, Stacey and her husband, Kevin, also lead our Awana Program at Glynwood. They have three children, Tally, Geoffrey, and Jemma.
Linda Wetherill
Financial Ministry Assistant
Linda became our part-time Financial Ministry Assistant on June 13, 2021. She is married to Mike and they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
